More than a hundred books from the personal library of Empress Maria Feodorovna have returned to the Pavlovsk Museum Reserve (the Leningrad region). They were taken out during the Great Patriotic War on the territory of Germany and stored in the personal library of the heirs of Count Schulenburg - the last German ambassador in Moscow before the World War II. The books were returned only by museum workers without agreement at the highest level. After a series of examinations and negotiations nephew Count Schulenburg agreed to donate 135 books of the 18th century to Pavlovsk.
All the folios are in good condition and will soon take place in the restored Library of Rossi in the Pavlovsk Museum Reserve.
