The exhibition features exhibits from the collection of the museum, the origin of which is associated with the history of Jewish community of Saint-Petersburg.

Among them are ritual objects and documents that reflect the stages of construction activity in the site of the Synagogue. For example, it is the permission to start the work on the construction of the building (1881), which became the last bureaucratic episode in the long history of coordination site for the construction of the Petersburg Synagogue.

Directly to the opening of the exhibition was completed the reconstruction of the unique curtain (parochet) embroidered with lyres, which remind the birth of the tradition of synagogue choral worship in our city.
