Internet and libraries: The National Electronic Library of Tatarstan posted a new collection in the Web

Remote users have got access to the electronic copies of the local history documents from the collection “Tatarika”, published in the second half of the 19^th century. A part of them was prepared by members of the Society of archaeology, history and ethnography of the Imperial Kazan University, and is published in the publishing house of the University. This is a “Historiographical description of the Kazan province” of Kapiton Milkovich” author V. Borisov, printed in 1898. Another edition of the same author – V. Borisov – a publication of the report on “Ancient Tower in Arsk, the Kazan province”, presented at the meeting of the Society of archaeology, history and ethnography of the Imperial Kazan University on January 20, 1900.

In 1895 in the printing lithography of the Imperial Kazan University was published a work by A. K. Vasiliev “To the history of land tenure in the Sviazhsky county”. An interesting material contains “History of the town of Elabuga: in memory of my kind and charitable citizens”, composed by I. Shishkin and published in Moscow in 1871.
