History of Russia: Exhibition “Orthodox Rus’. My history. The Romanovs” in Saint-Petersburg

The exhibition "Orthodox Russia. My history. The Romanovs" runs from February 16 to March 2, 2014 in the exhibition center "Lenexpo" in Saint-Petersburg.

The exposition from the Kostroma Epiphany Anastasia Monastery is brought miraculous image of Our Lady, in the XVII century the young Mikhail Romanov was blessed by his mother to his kingdom.

In 22 halls are located several hundred interactive screens, representing the history of the royal dynasty.

For the first time the exhibition, organized with the participation of the Russian Orthodox Church, was shown in Moscow from 4 to 24 November 2013. During this time it was visited by more than 300,000 people. Semantic center of the exhibition is the discussion about Russian history in the 300-year reign of the Romanovs. The main story was carried by more than 350 multimedia screens, including touch screens, 50-inch plasmas, boxes, tablet computers with interactive quizzes and cognitive applications, short and fascinating films.
