Google presented a massive update of the service Street View, in particular its Russian version. The company told that Street View-mode appeared for many cities in the eastern part of the country. On Google Maps have appeared panoramas of Vladivostok, Magadan, Irkutsk and more than 300 localities in Russia.

"We have mapped the largest Russian island - Sakhalin, the Russky Island and connecting it with Vldivostok the famous Russian bridge, which is the longest cable-stayed bridge in the world. In addition, we have added a new picture of Lake Baikal and toured the scenic highway M-52, known as Chui Tract", - said in a blog Google.

During 2013 23 cars in Google drove through Russia 298,000 kilometers and filmed territory inhabited by almost 60 per cent of the population.
