The Memorable Dates of Russia: Dedicated to the 700th Saint’s Anniversary "St. Sergius of Radonezh and Russian History" Exhibition in Abakan

Dedicated to the 700th anniversary of the saint, particularly esteemed by the Russian Orthodox Church, "St. Sergius of Radonezh and Russian History" Exhibition was opened on March 13, 2014, in Khakassia National Museum of Local Lore named after L. R. Kyzlasov (Abakan).

The exhibition, which is an outcome of the joint with the Abakan Eparchy efforts and with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Khakassia, presented the materials proving an outstanding life of the ascetic. All participants will get acquainted with the books on ancient Russian language and the narrating a hagiography of the Reverend information stands.

"St. Sergius of Radonezh and Russian History" exhibition opens a series of events scheduled to celebrate the 700th anniversary of the birth of St. Sergius of Radonezh in 2014 in the Republic of Khakassia.
