Book publishing and book distribution: International book fair Leipziger Buchmesse in Germany

From 13 to 16 March 2014, in Leipzig is held the International Book Fair Leipziger Buchmesse. Russia will present a stand of publishing programs of the Government of Moscow.

At the book fair Leipziger Buchmesse foreign readers will present books about the history and the present time of Moscow and Russia. The main event of the Russian program will be a roundtable on Russian literature in Germany.

The organizers of the Russian platform will bring to Germany literature and multimedia products on the country and the capital sp foreign readers can get acquainted with the actual book Moscow book publishing.

The main event of the Russian program at the Leipzig fair will be a roundtable on "Russian Literature in Germany: new discoveries and "white spots".

In total, over four days at the stand of the Moscow government are planned 9 events, including meetings with writers, book presentations and lectures.

Let us remind that the publishing programs of the Government of Moscow began to be implemented in 1993, and since then were produced more than 700 titles. More than 150,000 copies of books published in the program annually arrive in schools and libraries.
