Society and culture: The Moscow International Art Salon opened in Moscow

The XVII Moscow International Art Salon “CHA-2014. Link of Time” is held on the Central House of Artist till March 9, 2014.

The organizer of the Salon – the International conference of the Union of Artists with the support of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Russia, the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the Russian Academy of Fine Arts and the Department of Culture of the Government of Moscow.

As part of the Salon are presented works by artists of three generations, indifferent to the problems of spiritual survival, working with complex realities of today’s life. The works of different kinds and genres with a wide range of issues of the present, designed to awaken the understanding of the importance of ethical issues, are included.

The exposition of the Salon also features works by artists of the CIS countries and the Baltic, selected by the Unions of Artists of these countries.
