Exhibitions: The sculptural works from the collection of the S. D. Erzia Mordvinian Museum of Fine Arts presented in Samara

The exhibition "Stepan Erzia - sculptor of the world" opened in the Marble Hall of the Samara Regional Art Museum.

The exhibition includes 24 works from the collections of Stepan Erzia from the collections of the S. D> Erzia Mordvinian Republican Museum of Fine Arts, the owner of the richest (over 200 works) collections of works by sculptor not only in Russia, but throughout the world.

The exposition includes works by the best masters, decorated in marble and wood, belonging to different periods of creativity. The most representative section - Argentine, which presents a series of sculptures of historical portraits, psychological series, international, works with a religious theme. For the works of the sculptor is characterized of unusually plastic solutions, the ability to reveal the natural beauty of the material and at the same time to subdue it with his plans.
