Society and Culture: "Current Culture and Economy of the Regional Policy" International Cultural and Investment Forum in Makhachkala

"Current Culture and Economy of the Regional Policy" International Cultural and Investment Forum will be held in Makhachkala from April 21 to April 23, 2014.

The Forum is held within a framework of "Culture as a Strategic Resource of Russia in XXI Century" annual Moscow Forum of Culture, and the "Universities of Culture and Arts in the World Educational Space" annual International Symposium, as well as an annual Dagestan Economic Forum.

The main purpose of the forum, held in the framework of the Year of Culture, is to discuss the major problems of a balanced and synchronized development of the cultural environment and the economy in the regions of Russia, their territorial models that allow to harmonize the cultural and socio-economic dynamics of the region, to overcome crises and instability in the state of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation.

Organizers hope that the full agenda of the regional forum on the site of the Republic of Dagestan will let to exchange experience of designing integrated regional cultural environment and the regional economy in terms of prevention and overcoming of crisis cases in the territorial development of Russia, to consolidate approach to key issues of culture and economy of regional policy in the Russian Federation.
