To the National Libraries Day: Large-scale events in the Chelyabinsk Regional Library

On the National Libraries Day, May 27, the Chelyabinsk Regional Scientific Library will open its doors to all comers and surprise guests with a brand new format for the holiday. The chord in the final event will be a 3D-laser show on the facade of the library.

On this day, the Chelyabinsk Regional Universal Scientific Library invites all residents and visitors to the cognitive holiday that has not been in the walls of the institution before. Photo installations, tours through the oldest book repositories, a literary cafe in the open air, performance of famous musicians and laser show await all those coming for the holiday.

The library during laser multimedia projection will introduce viewers to the retrospective of events, history of the library, as well as interesting facts about books.

The guests will wait a day program and for the first time – an evening one. "Discover Public Library in a new way" - so is designated an event format, which will begin at 12:00 local time in the library. There will be tours of the stacks, previously unknown, showcased the best of the photo contest "One Day in the Life of Public Library", as well as rare footage from the history of the library and much more.

At 20:00 the festival moves to the platform in front of the library. "Literary Cafe", where visitors will be waiting for interactive games, quizzes, as well as meetings with the authors of books, will be open. At the retro exhibition "Magazine in retrospective" will be possible to look through periodicals of 20-60s of the XX century.

The grand festival will be completed with a concert program “Big Library – Big Concert” and a laser 3D show.
