History of Russia: Exhibition “In headquarters of Victory” in Moscow
In the building of the State Duma on Ohotny Ryad in Moscow with the support of the Russian Historical Society was opened a historical-documentary exhibition from the collection of the Russian State Archive of the socio-political history “In headquarters of Victory”. The exposition includes more than 100 documents from the collection of Politburo CPSY (b), the State Defense Committee of the USSR, the Central Headquarters of the Partisan Movement in the Supreme Command, personal collections of I. V. Stain, V. M. Molotov, A. I. Mikoyan, G. M. Malenkov.
The exhibition features documents of higher authorities and the heads of the country, whose solutions forced Victory. This document complex allows highlighting the main events of the Great Patriotic War, revealing their character.
The submitted documents chronologically reveal all the main stages of the Great Patriotic War from mobilization in June 1941 to victory stages in May 1945.
One of the main objectives of the exhibition – is to show both history lovers and professional scientists the war through authentic historical documents of that era.
