Exhibitions: Materials from the collections of the Yakub Kolas Literary-Memorial Museum presented in Kaliningrad

In the Kaliningrad Regional Historical Museum of Art opened the exhibition "Roads of War…" from the colelctions of the Yakub Kolas State Literary Memorial Museum (Minsk, Belarus).

The exhibition "Roads of War" presents the life and work of Kolas, focusing on the war period of the poet's life.

The collections of the Museum of Yakub Kolas carefully preserve materials telling about the individual stages of life and works of writer and his family during the war years.

The exhibition from the collections of the Yakub Kolas State Literary Memorial Museum present photographs, documents, newspaper articles during the First World War.

A piece of life of Yakub Kolas occurred during Hitler’s’ invasion is presented at the exhibition with valuable exhibits and materials.

In a multi-faceted palette of creative activity of Yakub Kolas the theme of war takes a significant place. Therefore, in this period was created a large number of poems, articles, stories.

For the patriotic activity during the war Yakub Kolas was repeatedly awarded, including the Military Order of the Red Banner, the Medal "Partisan of the Great Patriotic War" of the I degree, for an active participation in the organization of the guerrilla movement.
