Information technology and Russian regions: QR-codes to appear on cultural sites of Yaroslavl

As part of the realization of the navigation and touristic project “Study Yaroslavl” the most interesting and cultural objects of the city are supposed to be equipped with QR-codes. The program “Study Yaroslavl” was considered in the Kirov Administration of Yaroslavl the day before.

The idea of the project is to equip the most attractive cultural places of the historical part of the city with two-dimensional code, or the so-called QR-code. Such an innovation will allow tourists to get information about the object and choose the route for the self-guided tour.

According to experts, the implementation of the project will positively affect the image of the city and the development of the touristic infrastructure.
