Russian regions: The exhibition “Orthodox Ossetia” in Vladikavkaz

The National Museum of North Ossetia hosts the exhibition “Orthodox Ossetia”. According to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic, the event is organized as part of the celebration of the 1100^th anniversary of the baptism of Alania. 

The initiator and executor of the project is the National Museum supported by the Ministry of Culture of North Ossetia on the blessing of Archbishop of Vladikavkaz and Alania Zosima. Icons, crosses as well as Episcopal chair and fresco fragment of the Zrugsky temple, personal belongings of Archpriest Moses Kotsoev, educator Harlampy Tsomaev, and a complex of materials from the Alania Epiphany Monastery are presented.
