World history and culture: The Cultural and Educational project “My Athos” in Kislovodsk

In the Kislovodsk Historical Museum "Fortress", in the old premises of the round tower is opened a new exhibition "My Athos". The project is a cultural and educational in nature, is held under the patronage of the Russian Orthodox Church and the support of the regional branch of "Russian Athos society", a member of which is the Greek Orthodox project by artist Costas Asimis.

The photo exhibition "My Athos" provides a unique opportunity to make a part-time journey to the Holy Mountain. Costas Asimis did everything possible to make this trip varied and rich.

Using all genres of photography - landscape, portrait, genre and reportage photos, the photographer created a whole museum photo fond about everyday life of Athos in the past 30 years. The value of it is a highly professional and artistic performance in the presence of the general information.

The exhibition will run until September 30, 2014.
