Society and science: The All-Russian festival of science to be held in Novosibirsk

The Ministry of Education and Science of Russia took the initiative for the Novosibirsk region this year on the role of the central platform of the IV All-Russian Festival of Science.

According to the acting governor of the region Vladimir Gorodetsky, the proposal was made ​​"taking into account the long-term experience in the region of the Forum "Interra", as well as other major forums". As told in the regional government, the subject and nature of the activities "Interra" has much in common with the objectives of the All-Russian Festival of Science.

"A few years the science festival was developed exclusively in the territory of Moscow. In recent years, the organization of the event involved the regions of Russia. The Novosibirsk region, as a place of concentration of science, has extensive experience of interaction with research organizations and economic actors can share it. In addition, the experience of the All-Russian Festival of Science will be useful for our region, in particular in the framework of the program on re-industrialization of the region", - said Vladimir Gorodetsky.

The Novosibirsk region has joined the organizing committee of the festival of science. Soon there will be a plan for training activities and program of the festival. The IV All-Russian Science Festival will be held in the Novosibirsk region from 3 to 5 October.
