Information technology and culture: The International Scientific-Practical conference “Digital Age of Culture” in Sochi

The XIII International Scientific-Practical conference “Digital Age of Culture” is held from September 29 – October 3, 2014 in Sochi.

The main directions of the conference "Digital Age of Culture" traditionally are: the identifying and discussing of specific areas of informational institutions of various branches of culture (libraries, museums, theaters, schools, etc.) and practical solutions of related issues and problems; acquainted with the latest achievements in the field of computer and information technologies (creation of electronic resources in general, and digital libraries in particular, retrieval and storage of information).

For presentations and discussions on the events of the conference in 2014 are planned the following topics:

- The National Electronic Library;          

- Electronic resources and collections;

- Copyright;

- Electronic libraries;

- Complex automations of libraries.
