Society and culture: The action “Art Night” to be the All-Russian in the Year of Culture

In Moscow on the night from 3 to 4 November 2014 will be held the "Art Night" – it is planned over a thousand events in 250 Moscow venues. The action will also contain the Khabarovsk Far Eastern Art Museum, the Nizhny Tagil Museum of Art, the Museum of Nature and a Man in Khanty-Mansiysk, 11 boundary cultural institutions of the Altai Territory. This was told to conference participants in MIA "Russia Today" Director of the Cultural Heritage Department of the Ministry of Culture of Russia Mikhail Bryzgalov.

"Last year, the Ministry of Culture of Russia supported "Art Night" - it was for the first time attended by federal cultural institutions, and in the Year of Culture the management department held talks with the heads of subjects of the Federation and initiated a connection to the event of federal institutions in different regions of Russia. It is symbolic that in the Year of Culture "Art Night" has become annual and All-Russian", - said the head of the Department of Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture of Russia.

The libraries will host exhibitions and workshops, literary and musical compositions and concerts. The Central Exhibition Hall "Manezh" will exhibit installation "My Story. Rurik Dynasty" which was highly praised by the Director of the State Hermitage Museum Mikhail Piotrovsky: "This exhibition – in two-thirds a written textbook of Russian history". The Museum-Preserve "The Moscow Kremlin" for the first time takes part in the "Art Night". This year the "Art Night" for the second time will host the Pushkin Reserve: an autumn version of "Night at the Museum" will be held at the Museum-Estate of poet’s friends Osipov and Woolf "Trigorskoye". To this day, the reserve workers prepared an interactive program "The village evening will come".
