World history: December readings “The First World War and a Historical Memory” in Moscow

December 18, 2014 at the Museum of Contemporary History of Russia (Moscow) takes place annual December readings on the topic "The First World War and Historical Memory".

The research papers and reports will be delivered by: members of the Russian Historical Society, the Russian Military-Historical Society, the Russian Association of Historians of the First World War, the Historical Perspective Foundation, leading scientists from the Institute of Russian History, the Russian Academy of Sciences of the Institute of World History, the Research Institute of Military History, the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed forces of the Russian Federation, specialists from the Russian archives, museums, universities, socio-political organizations.

As part of December readings, in addition to the plenary session, is organized the work of two sections: "Exposition-exhibition show of the theme of the First World War" and "The publication of new documents about the First World War".
