Internet and culture: The Pskov Regional Scientific Library prepares Internet project to the Year of Literature-2015

In the Year of Literature-2015 declared in Russia, the Pskov Regional Scientific Library plans to collect and present in the Web the most comprehensive material which reflects the literary history of the region and its present day.

The literary-touristic, educational project “Literary trails of the Pskov land”, involves the creation of an editable electronic history resource with open access, which contains information of the history and the present literary day of the region’s life.

The resource will be targeted to several categories of users. These are tourists, writers, who will be provided with a platform for the publication of their works, readers, publishers.

In accordance with categories of potential visitors of the resource the structure is developing, and it will reflect the following: contemporary literature, including in the form of the full texts of works by local authors; book industry, as well as to provide entertaining literary tour routes and inform them of interesting creative activities and events.

For travelers, going to Pskov, will be presented routes of literary excursions. This year will be the detailed development of four routes:

1. Pskov monasteries - centers of Russian literacy.

2. Pskov land by Pushkin’s road.

3. With a book to Pskov. The first book "Two Captains" by V. A. Kaverin where the city of Ensk is native to Kaverin Pskov.

4. "The Ring of the Silver Age" - a great trip in the Pskov region with lyrics by Sasha Cherny, Vladislav Khodasevich, Fedor Sollogub, Alexander Kuprin, Igor Severyanin, Leonid Zurov.
