The Year of Literature in Russia-2015: Unique publishing projects to be implemented in the Altai Krai
As part of the Year of Literature in Russia-2015 in the Altai Krai will be released the publishing series under the title “Altai. Fate. Era”.
The presentation of the first book of the series, dedicated to the legendary soldier of the Second World War Alexei Skurlatov will take place in the near future. This was announced at a press conference on the Year of Literature by the chief of the regional management of culture and archival business Elena Bezrukova.
“Currently, as part of a new series will be released three books – about Alexei Skurlatov, Mikhail Kalashnikov and Herman Titov. The choice of these books for 2015 is not accidental. For example, the names of Alexei Skurlatov, Mikhail Kalashnikov are linked to another important theme of the year - the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory”.
It will be continued the work on publishing books of laureates of the Shukshin literary award, for the first time will begin the publishing of books of the Governor's Literary Award Winners by Robert Rozhdestvensky. In particular, poetry collections of award winners in 2012 and 2014 will be released - Victor Verstakov (Moscow) and Victor Briukhovetsky (the Leningrad region).
In the Year of the literature will be continued work to publish books under the regional competition for the publication of literary works.
Another publishing project is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory. The region will release a book at the end of the program to repair the monuments of the Great Patriotic War. The work on the publication has already begun. The book will include pictures and descriptions of all repaired within the framework of the monuments, as well as the partition will be created “Heroes of the Soviet Union” - natives of the Altai Territory”.
