History and culture: The exhibition “Centenary around the Christmas tree” in Chelyabinsk

The Chelyabinsk Regional Universal Scientific Library until January 20, 2015 hosts the exhibition "Centenary around the Christmas tree".

Organizers of the exhibition project, specialists of the Chelyabinsk Regional Universal Scientific Library, conceived to recreate the atmosphere of Christmas and New Year in the last 100 years.

The main exhibits were three of the beautiful trees: the era of the early XX century, the USSR and modern times. Garlands, Christmas toys and items of jewelry for firs are collected by specialists of the Chelyabinsk Regional Universal Scientific Library, as well as all the other exhibits of the exhibition project "Centenary around the Christmas tree". Christmas tree ornaments, figurines of Santa Clauses and Snow Maidens, Christmas and New Year cards, calendars of the last century, a unique photo project "My first Christmas tree" - all this can be seen at the exhibition in the Chelyabinsk Regional Universal Scientific Library.
