 
  On the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory: The National Library of the Republic of Khakassia presents "The Winning 1945th" calendar- exhibition
      The National Library of the Republic of Khakassia named after N. G. Domozhakov (Abakan) in the year of the 70th anniversary of the Victory will present its richest funds for various thematic book exhibitions. Among the others is the "The Winning 1945th" calendar-exhibition set at the versatile reading room.
According to the authors, the exhibition aims to draw an attention to the major military operations of liberation of Europe from the Nazis, ended in the winter-spring of 1945.
The first part of the calendar-exhibition is dedicated to the Vistula-Oder and Budapest advance operations, completed in February 1945.
Visitors will be able to see the documents published in the folloving books: "The Liberation Mission of the Soviet Armed Forces in the Second World War: Documents and Materials", "International Solidarity of Workers in the Struggle for Peace and National Liberation Against Fascist Aggression, for the Total Annihilation of Fascism in Europe and Asia (1938-1945)", "100 Great Victories of Russia."
Certainly, the readers will be interesting in memoirs of A. I. Yeremenko titled "The Years of Retribution: The Roads of War from Kerch to Prague," I. S. Konev’s "Notes of Front Commander" and A. N. Kozakov’s "From the Vistula to the Oder" and others.
In March the exhibition will be focused at the beginning of East Prussia military operation, the seige of Koenigsberg, Vienna operation and liberation of Austria. The final page of "The Winning 1945th" exhibition calendar will present the editions dedicated to the Berlin operation, rising the victory standard over the Reichstag, and the signing of the German Instrument of Surrender.
