President of Russia: The Russian entrepreneurs told Vladimir Putin about their project in the network
President of Russia Vladimir Putin held a meeting with Internet-entrepreneurs whose projects received a financial and expert support of the Internet Initiatives Development Foundation. The meeting was attended by 26 entrepreneurs who provided 17 projects, say official website of the Kremlin.
Vladimir Putin noted that the proportion of Internet-dependent business in Russia currently stands at 10% of GDP, and Internet services on a daily basis in our country are 60 million people.
Internet Initiatives Development Foundation - a non-profit organization established to promote young professionals and entrepreneurs working in the field of information technology, and to create favorable conditions for the realization of new high-tech online projects.
The President stressed that the fund, established in 2013, is actively developing. The idea of the fund was announced by the President in November 2012. With the help of such a fund, according to Vladimir Putin, Russia will be able to provide jobs for "creative class of young people who are willing and able to work in new media and do it effectively and skillfully".
