Electronic libraries: Regional Scientific and Practical Conference “The National Electronic Library: potential of the region” in Pskov

March 18, 2015 the Pskov Regional Universal Scientific Library with the support of the State Committee for Culture of the Pskov region holds the regional scientific-practical conference of the series "Authority. Population. Libraries" - " The National Electronic Library (NEB): potential of the region".

The conference welcomes representatives of libraries of different systems and agencies, state and municipal authorities of the Pskov region, state institutions and public organizations.

As part of the conference will be discussed:

- current state and perspectives of the development of NEB;

- possibilities and potential of libraries of different systems in the formation of the content of NEB;

- Conditions for connection and access to the NEB;

- problems of libraries of the region;

- social partnership of public libraries, archives, museums. Educational institutions, private collectors in the promotion of regional electronic resources;

- projects of libraries in the formation of electronic collections;

- experience of libraries of other regions in the project to create NEB and others.
