Society and law: Book exhibition “Court speeches…and not only” in Cheboksary

In public legal information centers of the National Library of the Chuvash Republic (Cheboksary) runs a book exhibition "Court speeches… and not only".

Court speech - is a public speech, converted to the court, as well as all involved and presented in a criminal or civil case, uttered in the hearing. It is an important part of the final trial, with an impact on the assessment of all present fact and adjudication, sentencing. Court speech is considered by reputable lawyers not only as professional excellence, but also as a high art that requires oratorical and artistic abilities. Feature of judicial speech is its strict procedural regimentation. 

The exhibition presents books of famous lawyers and court officials. For more information on the legal rhetoric, style, media speech effect, the value of the judicial speech advocacy, the peculiarities of the speech of the public prosecutor, ethics, judicial debate can be found in journal publications, presented at the exhibition.

The exhibition will be useful for lawyers and legal practitioners, teachers, and law students, citizens wishing to self-defend their rights in court and to all who want to improve judicial oratory.

The exhibition will run until April 5, 2015.
