Internet and culture: The Astrakhan Regional Library launched two virtual projects

The N. K. Krupskaya Astrakhan Regional Scientific Library hosted two virtual projects.

As part of the Year of Literature in Russia the project “Poetry of Colors” combined creative efforts of two institutions of culture – the N. K. Krupskaya Astrakhan Regional Library and P. M. Dogadin Astrakhan State Picture Gallery.

The joint project of the library and gallery aims to deepen knowledge in the field of literature and the fine arts, to experience the unique local history collection of paintings, illustrated lines of well-known wordsmiths - writers and poets in the virtual space. Daily during one week from provided by a gallery of paintings are illustrated by agents of social networks "artistic expression". Partner organizations have brought special hashtag #PoeziyaKrasok.

The Virtual project “Let’s remember names” is held as part of the 70^th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and is dedicated to Astrakhan heroes of the Soviet Union. The project is designed to tell about those residents of the Astrakhan region who is awarded the honorary title, whose names are forever inscribed in the history of the Great Victory.

Each publication as part of the project includes a photograph of a hero, hashtag #RememberNames as well as a link at the website http://www.warheroes.ru/, where the detailed information about the fate of the valiant Astrakhan resident is presented.
