The Year of Literature in Russia-2015: The exhibition “Leo Tolstoy and the Caucasus” in the Krasnodar Krai

As part of the Year of literature in Russia in the Kropotkin City Regional Museum (the Krasnodar Krai) opened the exhibition “Leo Tolstoy and the Caucasus” from the collection of the L. N. Tolstoy State Museum (Moscow).

Citizens of the city of Kropotkin and the Caucasus region are provided the opportunity to see unique manuscripts, notebooks of Leo Tolstoy, photographs of the writer, picturesque and graphic works of famous artist (copies) from the L. N. Tolstoy State Museum.

The exhibition presents bibliographic rarity: the publication of works of Leo Tolstoy (1911-1950s) from the collections of the Municipal Museum of Local History and Central district library. Also on display there is the weapon of the Cossacks and the mountaineers of the XIX - early XX centuries, the objects of the Cossack way of life of the XIX century from the museum collection.
