
Archives of Russia: Events, dedicated to the Day of Archives, are held in regions of Russia
March 10 Russia celebrates the Day of Archives. That day in 1720 was published and signed by Peter the Great "General Regulations or Statutes".
It was Russia's first national legal act, determine including fundamentals of a centralized system of archiving in the country. General regulations prescribed by the central government agencies to transmit documents in the archives, establishing mandatory accounting of government securities and entered public office of actuarius, which was to "collect letters carefully, add-on registry repair, mix sheets…".
In archival institutions of Russia this day will be held a variety of activities. So, in Ulyanovsk will begin start working the exhibition of unique documents from the state archives of the Ulyanovsk region and the exhibition and publishing projects, prepared according to the documents of the State archives of the Ulyanovsk region.
The State Archives of the Altai Territory will host an exhibition of documents "Word in time…", dedicated to the Year of literature of Russia and talking about the features of the text, style and word documents of the XVIII-XX centuries, kept in the archive.
The exhibition consists of five sections: "There was the Word in the beginning …", "High style, polite literature", "Young adults teaching Russian syllable…", "The rhetoric of recent times", "Master of St. verbal craft". They are presented decrees and manifestos of Russian emperors, treaties and conventions with foreign states, petitions and solemn promises subjects of the Russian state, and the liturgical books of spiritual character, students' written work in literature, the Soviet Information Bureau reports, diaries, poems and prose writers of the Altai and other documents.
