Book publishing and book distribution: The X Moscow Open Book Festival to be held on the Red Square in Moscow

The dates of the X Moscow Open Book Festival are apointed. During the Year of literature in Russia in 2015 it will take place from 25 to 28 June 2015.

The anniversary Moscow International Open Book Festival this year will move from the Central House of Artists on the Red Square. This was announced by the head of the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications Mikhail Seslavinskiy.

This year the focus will be made on the participation in the festival of regional publishers. "For them, it is perhaps even more important than for large publishers, who find their niches for the presentation of new books", - said Mikhail Seslavinskiy.

As planned, the entrance to the event is free, with no tickets and passes to bring it to the attention of the widest possible audience. With the same purpose it is selected a new venue for large-scale book fair.

By tradition, the Moscow Open Book Festival will feature the best samples of domestic and foreign book publishing, the program also includes a meeting of writers with readers, discussions, interactive activities for children and youth, etc. A more detailed program of the festival will be known later.

The Moscow Open Book Festival (MOBF) is held annually since 2006 under the patronage of Rospechat and the Government of Moscow.
