Information technology and culture: Virtual branch of the State Russian Museum in Nizhny Novgorod

April 23, 2015 in Nizhny Novgorod will be held the opening of the 166^th information and educational center “The State Russian Museum: the Virtual Branch” on the basis of the library “Center of the business and legal information” of the Centralized Library System of the Avtozavodky district of Nizhny Novgorod.

The library has a very wide range of activities and it interacts with organizations not only in Nizhny Novgorod, but also in other regions of Russia, holds conferences and seminars. For the contribution to the culture of the city the library received the title of laureate of Nizhny Novgorod in the category “Public social programs”. 

The opening of the Avtozavodskoy area of the virtual branch of the State Russian Museum allows residents to get acquainted with a rich collection of national fine art represented in the collection of the State Russian Museum, to feel part of a common cultural and information space “State The Russian Museum: the Virtual Branch”, which brings together fans of Russian art in the territory Russia and the CIS and foreign countries.
