Memory of Russia: The Russian Military-Historical Society implements projects to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the North-West

To the 70^th anniversary of Victory, the Russian Military-Historical Society implements four large projects in the North-West Federal District.

This was told at a meeting of the Council under the Plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in the North-West Federal District by State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Culture Gregory Ivliev: "In the North-West Federal District this year will be implemented four projects, one of the most iconic - "Bridgehead 2015" - will be held in the Kirov district of the Leningrad region from 4 to 10 May. There will be deployed a Military History Camp, a march on the military technique of the Great Patriotic War times in places of the 2nd Shock Army".

Among the events are the International Searching Memorial Forum "Victory - forever!" (April 24 - May 8), which will take place in the Novgorod region; in the Leningrad region as part of the "Memory Watch" will be open the International Military History Camp "Volkhov Front" (August 10-25), and in the Kaliningrad region - festival "Gumbinnenskoe battle" (August 20-23).

In addition, the Deputy Minister has informed that this anniversary year will continue the National action to install commemorative plaques in schools, where Heroes of the Soviet Union studied.
