On the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory: "Victory as the New Epic" exhibition project in Moscow

On May 26, 2015, Russian Academy of Arts along with Krokin Gallery in the halls of Zurab Tsereteli Art Gallery (Moscow) opens the “Victory as a New Epic” exhibition project, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory.

The exhibition features more than 50 works: paintings, drawings, objects, installations, video.

The main idea of the exhibition, its content idea focuses on Victory as the epic phenomenon that resonates in the ambience of contemporary culture. Apart of the perception of Victory by people who for many decades away from it, the fundamental point of the exhibition is the format of their association with it.

The exhibition is open until July 5, 2015.
