The State Pushkin Museum (Moscow) hosts the exhibition "Revived Chambers", which features works by Russian arts and crafts, artifacts and history of the XVII century from private collections.

The exhibition in Chertolsky Lane was thought for a long time. In architectural terms - this is a typical urban stone building of the XVII century. Organizers decided to recreate the atmosphere in the chambers of the living space of the XVII century.

On two floors of "Revived Chambers" with vaulted ceilings are placed objects from Russian private collections. Home collections, gathered over decades, were published in the authentic museum atmosphere. In selecting exhibits a particular importance was paid to the historical authenticity and the greatest variety of cultural monuments. Thus, the exhibition features old maps and documents: rare autographs of "Russian tsar" Władyslaw IV Vasa, letters patent of Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich.

Forged svettsy and candlesticks, silverware and jewelry, icons and unique to the XVII century, Kyoto - all is collected and preserved thanks to a living interest in Russian history and a love of Russian art.
