The Year of Literature in Russia-2015: Literature Forum of countries and territories of the Caspian “Caspian – Sea of Friendship” in Astrakhan

"Friendship of literatures - the friendship of peoples!" – under this motto in Astrakhan on 19-20 May 2015 will be held Literature Forums of countries and territories of the Caspian "Caspian - Sea of ​​Friendship". Now there is an active preparation for the event, which will be one of the main events of the Year of Literature in the region.

The Literature Forum, organized at the initiative of the Astrakhan regional branch of the Writers' Union of Russia, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Astrakhan region, will be attended by writers and linguists from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Dagestan, Kalmykia, Chechnya, Astrakhan poets and writers, representatives of national cultural societies of the region.

The Forum program - scientific and creative conference "Literary translation as a means of strengthening and development of international relations, mutual enrichment of cultures of the peoples of Russia, the Caspian countries and territories, various aspects of cultural cooperation and interaction between the public Caspian countries and territories", literary and musical evening with guests of the Forum and Astrakhan writers.

A significant event will be the results of the contest of literary translations from the languages of the Caspian, which holds the Astrakhan regional branch of the Union of Writers of Russia with the support of the N. K. Krupskaya Astrakhan Regional Scientific Library.
