Society and media: XIII Moscow Media Festival on Poklonnaya Hill

A big celebration — XIII Moscow Media Festival — will take place on the Day of Russia on June 12, 2015, on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow.

Every year, traditionally, editorial staff of newspapers and magazines celebrates this holiday together with readers. The popular newspapers such as Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Vechernyaya Moskva, Moskovskaya Pravda, Arguments and Facts, Komsomolskaya Pravda, Moskovsky Komsomolets, Tverskaya 13, numerous literary and art and scientific-popular magazines, recent and many other publications will meet theirs readers at the festival. Editorial offices have prepared a special program and pleasant surprises.

In the Year of Literature book lovers will meet with the book. One of the festival’s sites for a few hours will turn into a bookshop and, at the same time, a reading room. Leading publishers and booksellers will offer their readers theirs best books.

This year, the guests of XVII World Congress of Russian Press, which will be held at this time in Moscow, will come to greet the guests of the Media Festival and to get familiar with the editors’ work. Congress, organized by the World Association of Russian Press and the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Information Telegraph Agency of Russia (ITAR-TASS)", has more than 300 guests. Among them are the editors, publishers and leading journalists of the Russian diaspora abroad.

The Moscow Media Festival, with no doubt, will be an outstanding event within the city activities on the Day of Russia, offering readers a fun holiday and a good mood.
