The Year of Literature in Russia-2015: an interactive map, dedicated to the writer Leonid Martynov will be created in Omsk

An interactive map called the “Taking Trails of Martynov”, which will mark the places that connected with the life and work of the writer Leonid Martynov, will be created in Omsk.

It will have all landmarks associated with the name of a famous writer. Including the house where he lived, the street and the library, which bear his name, as well as all the places mentioned in his books. The map will be developed in Omsk State Institute of Service within a framework of the Year of Literature in Russia.

It is planned that this map becomes a textbook for schoolchildren and students, as well as a resource for the laying new sightseeing and traveling routes in the Omsk Oblast.

In addition, on the grounds of this project could be paved the roads devoted to Dostoevsky, Robert Rozhdestvensky and other writers and poets, in whose destinies is Omsk.

They are aware in this Siberian city that the engaging with literary brands will be a big impact into building an image and attracting attention to Omsk.

In the future, Martynov’s trails will be extended on the maps of the Altai and Kazakhstan.
