Russian regions: The Museum of the 29th Army and the Kalinin Front opened in the Tver region

In the Tver region near Rzhev started working the Museum of the 29th Army and the Kalinin Front, dedicated to Joseph Stalin.

The exposition is located in the village of Khoroshevo in a wooden house, where the commander in chief spent the night of August 5, 1943, and also signed a decree of the first in the history of the Great Patriotic War artillery salute in honor of the liberation by Soviet troops of cities of Orel and Belgorod.

The central part of the exhibition - completely preserved from the time the interior of the cabinet. Also, there are exhibits devoted to fighting on the Kalinin Front and the role of Stalin in the victory over fascism. The site at the entrance to the museum is decorated with a bust of the Supreme Commander.

The initiative of the museum belongs to the Russian Military-Historical Society. The plans include the object in the tourist routes of the Tver region.
