
Museums of Russia: Photographs from the collections of the Moscow House-Museum of Marina Tsvetaeva first presented at the exhibition in Astrakhan
August 7, 2015 in the House-Museum of Velimir Khlebnikov (Astrakhan) is opened the exhibition "Under the sky of Cimmeria: poetic crossroad". For the first time in Astrakhan are presented photos from the collections of the Marina Tsvetaeva House-Museum (Moscow). This event in the framework of cross-relationships between literary museums of Russia becomes a significant cultural event in the Year of Literature.
The exhibition is a kind of a dialogue of house-museums of poets who were contemporaries and innovators, but each of them went their difficult creative way.
The funds of the Marina Tsvetaeva House-Museum in Moscow contain a large collection of pictures related to different periods of the life of the poet. They are a stay at the House of M. A. Voloshin in Koktebel, where Tsvetaeva came from 1911 to 1917. Place called by Voloshin in ancient "Cimmeria", it is described as "one of the best places on earth".
The exhibition "Under the sky of Cimmeria: poetic crossroad" from the funds of the Marina Tsvetaeva Museum are more than 40 photos depicting the "Koktebel" years in the life of Marina Ivanovna.
As part of the exhibition will be held lectures, literary meetings, film screenings dedicated to the life and work of M. I. Tsvetaeva.
