The Year of Literature in Russia-2015: The XIII International Scientific and Art Symposium “Voloshin September” in Koktebel

From September 8-20, 2015 in Koktebel is held the XIII International Scientific and Art Symposium “Voloshin September”. This year it is dedicated to the 40^th anniversary of the M. A. Voloshin House-Museum and the Year of Literature in Russia.

The International Scientific and Art Symposium "Voloshin September" - a set of significant cultural projects. One of the central events of the symposium in 2015 will be a round table «GENIUS LOCI Maximilian Voloshin: cultural symbols and the contemporary challenges", which takes place on the opening day of the symposium – September 8. It will be attended by cultural leaders of Crimea, Russia and Europe, members of the Club of curators of literary festivals of Russia from St. Petersburg to Krasnoyarsk, as well as officials, including the head of the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications Mikhail Seslavinskiy.  

The International Scientific and Art Symposium "Voloshin September" - one of the largest events on the scale of the CIS, focused on contemporary culture in all its aesthetic manifestations. It involves both well-known and young artists from around the world to share experiences, participating in creative evenings and discussions, master classes. Over the years, the festival was attended by more than 5000 artists, science and culture.

As part of the symposium in Koktebel and Feodosiya will be held traditional Children's days "Voloshin September" - a festival of young Russian children's literature, which will be attended by young writers, members of the creative association of children's writers "Yu Island".
