
History and culture: Exhibition “Legends of the Crimea” opened in Moscow
The Bogolyubov Library of Arts (Moscow) hosted the opening of an exhibition of works of Moscow artists "Legends of the Crimea."
There was also a presentation of a memorial public art project "The picturesque panorama of the Crimean War, 1853-56." On the 160th anniversary of signing the Treaty of Paris in 1856. The group exhibition was organized by the Bogolyubov Library of Arts, Moscow Union of Artists (painting section) jointly with the Russian Association of marine painters and artist association " Bogolyubov Workshop of Marine and Battle Painting."
The exposition is unique because it features several generations of artists, and moreover, it was joined by some of Moscow's oldest dynasties of artists, for whom the Crimean theme was a significant part of their family work, and which they devoted years of work.
