Electronic libraries: Electronic library “Kola North” has been enriched with military albums

The Murmansk Regional Scientific Library continues to digitize books for e-library "Kola North".

On the eve of the 71st anniversary of the defeat of Nazi troops in the Arctic the collection "Preserving the memory of the war" has been enriched with new editions. It included a unique photo dedicated to pilots of the 19th and the 20th of the Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment, which participated in the defense of Murmansk and the Arctic.  

Photo albums for the electronic collection have been provided by the Museum of Military Glory of the A. S. Khlobystov Kilpyavr secondary school. The work on their creation began in the 60s of the 20th century. For many years, young searchers of the Kilpyavr school sought and collected materials.

Each of the 21 submitted photo albums is dedicated to one of the legendary warriors of aircraft parts. On their pages there are personal photos, letters and correspondence of front years with family and friends of soldiers, archive materials.

New publications are available at the website of electronic library "Kola North" in section "Keeping the memory of the war".
