The exhibition from the Museum-panorama "The Battle of Borodino" to the 190th anniversary of the Decembrists’ revolt "12.14.1825. PRO & CONTRA" is opened on December 12, 2015 in Kutuzov hut (Moscow).
The revolt of December 14, 1825 has left a serious mark not only in the memory of future generations, but also in the Russian historical science and literature. Many of those who took up arms against the government and led the shelves in the Senate Square were members of the Patriotic War of 1812.
The Museum "Kutuzov hut" is a book of memoirs of participants of Decembrist movement, publications, archival documents, research of historians of the XIX-XX centuries and works of fiction. There are about 50 interesting publications - the best of the collection of the Museum-panorama "The Battle of Borodino", collected over the last fifty years. Books about the history and development of the Decembrist movement, the fate of some of its members reveal the causes and consequences of an event that is called "an attempt of noble revolution"…
