The Year of Literature in Russia-2015: International Forum of Literary Museums in Moscow

The State Literary Museum of the Year of Literature in Russia supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications from 10 to December 12, 2015 presents the International Forum of literary museums.

The forum is held in Moscow on the grounds of the State Pushkin Museum and the Leo Tolstoy State Museum.

International Forum of literary museums - major professional event for Russian and foreign museums. The purpose of the Forum is to develop the professional environment of literary museums, organizations, business and culture, dealing with the preservation and dissemination of knowledge about literature and reading culture, the promotion of reading. The objective of the Forum is to promote the exchange of experiences and the development of professional communication, study and application in the work of literary museums in the country of the best practices in networking, the actual practices of museumification of literature, as well as attract the attention of the circle of professionals to the problems of interaction between museums in Moscow and the regions with partner organizations in government, business and culture, book publishing organizations.

The Forum invites the leaders of the largest literary museums in the country, the leading museum experts, specialists in the field of museology and publishing, contemporary writers and representatives of the cultural community of the city.
