World history: The exhibition “Space and its secrets” in Monaco

The exhibition “Space and its secrets” was opened in Monaco. The exposition is prepared by the Kaliningrad Historical and Art Museum. It includes several hundreds documentaries, historical materials, memorial items.

Visitors can learn the history of space exploration by Soviet and Russian cosmonauts. Plenty of space is devoted to the conquerors of the vacuum of space born in the Kaliningrad region. Among them is Alexei Leonov, who half a century ago made the first spacewalk.

At the opening the guests were shown a film representing Alexei Leonov, not only as an astronaut, but also as an artist. They also saw a video message from the crew of the International Space Station.

The exhibition runs in the principality in the framework of the Year of Russian Culture in Monaco.
