Education and society: The Ministry of Education and science to create a series of children techno parks

The Ministry of Education intends to develop a series of children techno parks in order to increase children's interest in engineering and technical creativity, said the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Dmitry Livanov on January 21, 2016 at a cabinet meeting.

"Together with the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) it is implemented a new project called "The new model of the additional education of children, provided the establishment in the Russian Federation of a series of technological parks for children". The first of them have already been created. We will continue to pursue this work", - said Livanov.

The first children's parks are opened in Khanty-Mansiysk, Nefteyugansk and Naberezhnye Chelny.
