The Year of Russian Cinema-2016: Educational project “Literary classics from A to Z on the screen” was launched in Bryansk

January 18, 2016 in one of the oldest cinemas in Ryazan "Victory" took place the opening of the educational project "Literary Classics from A to Z on the screen", which implement public libraries of Bryansk in the Year of the Russian Cinema. The audience was presented the novel "Destiny" by Peter Lukic Proskurin, a native of the Bryansk region, and was demonstrated the self-titled film. The work chosen for display is no accident: from 12 to 22 January 2016 the P. L. Proskurin Central City Library hosts a decade dedicated to the works of the writer. 

Cinema lecture "Best adaptation of national classics" continues to work throughout the year. On the big screen of the cinema "Victory" in the last ten days of each month will be shown films on the works that are included in the school curriculum and which are among the masterpieces of world classical literature.

Video classes are designed for all categories of residents: high school students will receive an additional opportunity to fill up their intellectual baggage in the knowledge of Russian literature on the eve of exams, and the older generation will be able to experience the feeling of nostalgia and again to see for a long time their favorite films. And not only to see but also to learn about the works, which was the material for its creation. Demonstration of the film will begin with a story about screen book.
