Memory of Russia: Monument to military doctors and medical sisters is opened in the Moscow region

February 23, 2016 at the Moscow State Institute of Culture (Khimki, the Moscow region), where during the Great Patriotic War was located a military hospital, is opened a monument to military doctors and medical sisters.

Guests of the event will be the Great Patriotic War veterans who were treated in the hospital.

The hospital in the territory of MSUC has saved the lives of more than 5 000 soldiers and officers. Teachers and students of the university helped to treat fighters. The monument was created on the initiative of the Russian military-historical society on people's donations. Author - sculptor Denis Stritovich. The monument was supported by specialists of the Vishnevsky Military Hospital of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.

After the solemn opening ceremony of the monument to the participants pursued in Central IPCC body to the opening of the exhibition All-Russian Musical Association of Musical Culture by M. I. Glinka - "70 tunes of Victory".
