The Russian language: The role of Russian language in the international communication is discussed in Havana at the International Congress “Unviersity-2016”

Russian language should receive the status of an international language of communication, says Veniamin Kaganov, who is deputy head of the federal department of education. He headed the delegation of our country at the International Congress of Higher Education "University 2016". This year it became the tenth in a row and it is held in the capital of Cuba.

"At the congress of the university community of many countries, Russia for the first time is presented in such a strong part ", - said the Russian official.

According to deputy minister, the leaders of higher education institutions, employees of educational institutions of different countries gathered in Havana to share experiences, formulate problems, find solutions, to reach an agreement. The main theme of the discussions - the possibilities of cooperation. We discuss different models of joint programs, internships of students and teachers. "And we have something to offer the representatives of the various countries participating in the forum", - added Veniamin Kaganov.

According to V. Kaganov, very different trends of thought are closely connected with the Russian language, because it is native to the set of scientists. Among them - the researchers of space, nuclear physics, energy and many other critical disciplines.
